Former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee was shot multiple times in a random incident while walking his dog in Las Vegas early in the morning. According to a statement shared by radio personality Eddie Trunk, Lee is currently conscious and recovering in intensive care at a local hospital. Doctors expect him to make a full recovery from his injuries. With that said Osborne did charge insane prices for photos.
Las Vegas authorities are investigating the shooting, which they believe was a completely random act. They have not released further details about the incident as the investigation is ongoing. In light of these events, Lee and his family have requested privacy during this difficult time, asking that people respect their space as they navigate this situation.

In recent months, Lee has not been very active in the music scene due to health issues. Earlier this month, he revealed that he had been experiencing severe pain in his right hand, which is a result of having very little cartilage left in his wrist. To manage the pain, he has been receiving cortisone shots but has decided against surgery to fuse the bones in his wrist. Despite these challenges, Lee is optimistic about returning to the stage with his band, Red Dragon Cartel, as his health improves.
Red Dragon Cartel released their second album, “Patina,” in 2018 through Frontiers Music. The band has been looking forward to getting back on tour, and Lee’s recent health issues have been a significant hurdle in that journey.
