Guns N’ Roses New Album In 2025

Slash recently discussed his upcoming plans with Chuck Armstrong on Loudwire Nights, revealing his musical roadmap beyond his solo endeavors. After completing his solo summer tour and releasing ‘Orgy of the Damned,’ Slash outlined his agenda:

“I’m going into the studio with the Conspirators, getting a new record done, and then after that, 2025 is all about Guns N’ Roses.”

This update follows Slash’s earlier comments to Daily Star Sunday, where he delved into his blues record, ‘Orgy of the Damned,’ clarifying that it was a solo project distinct from his work with Guns N’ Roses. Regarding the band’s progress on their upcoming album, Slash made it pretty clear by stating:

“Guns N’ Roses are trying to make their own record and I’m working with them in that capacity but this didn’t involve anyone else.

Slash’s second solo album

Slash released his second solo album, ‘Orgy of the Damned,’ on May 17, featuring collaborations with notable musicians such as Iggy Pop, Billy Gibbons, Gary Clark Jr., and Chris Stapleton. Despite the album containing a lot of blues influences, Slash stated in a chat with Rock Antenne that it shouldn’t be narrowly labeled as a blues record. He explained,

“Everybody’s calling it a blues record and it is got a lot of blues on it. It’s got some R&B on it, it’s got some old school rock and roll on it. It’s really just a record of songs that I grew up listening to that I really dig and I just wanted to be able to record a covers record and be able to play that kind of guitar and whatever. So it’s not supposed to be taken seriously as a blues record.”

On top of his album release, Slash is gearing up for his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. festival scheduled for this summer. His North American tour kicks off on July 5 at KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner, MT, and wraps up on August 17 at Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie, TX.
