Linkin Park singer Emily Armstrong liked a viral Sydney Sweeney photo on Instagram. Armstrong has posted the LGBTQ hashtag in many of her Instagram photos in the past, though she has not completely clarified her dating preferences despite rumors.
Linkin Park recently returned from hiatus after the tragic loss of their iconic frontman, Chester Bennington, in 2017. They recently unveiled a new single titled “The Emptiness Machine” from their upcoming album From Zero. This marks the band’s first release of new music in several years. The band performed in a live stream event.
However, fans quickly noticed the absence of two core members, guitarist Brad Delson and drummer Rob Bourdon during the performance. Rob Bourdon was replaced by Colin Brittain while Guitarist Alex Feder stepped in to fill Brad Delson’s role on stage.
Colin Brittain talks about new songs
During his Instagram live from South Korea, he said that they will play in Argentina, Mexico, and German festivals. He said: “There are a couple songs that we are still working on that may or may not come out next year”
“There are so many Linkin Park songs that we’ll probably rotate through a lot of them. You’ll probably hear more stuff from The Hunting Party but I’m not sure right now”
During the live he also clarified that he was not replacing Rob Bourdon. He said: “I’m not replacing Rob, this wasn’t a band’s mindset when we set out to do this. We’re just moving forward.
Rob is an amazing drummer, he was very influentional to me, and so trying to “replace” somebody like him would be unrealistic.”
Colin Brittain has made music under that label of Warner Chappell Music and popularly known as ‘Doc.’ He has previously worked for other bands including Papa Roach, Hands Like Houses, Basement, Dashboard Confessional, 5 Seconds of Summer, All Time Low and One OK Rock. He has also collaborated with the likes of G Flip, Logan Henderson, DJ Illnium and Miyavi. Some of his notable contributions include songs Worst In Me and Ambitions for One OK Rock, albums Who Do You Trust and Crooked Teeth for Papa Roach and 5 Seconds of Summer’s self-titled album
