Regarding their upcoming album, Pearl Jam, one of the bands who helped pioneer the grunge era, has some exciting news. Their drummer, Matt Cameron, confirmed their much awaited record completion on the Vinyl Guide podcast. The record, which Andrew Watt co-produced, has finished the painstaking process of mixing and mastering, indicating that it is ready for release.

The band and their affiliates carefully prepare the album’s promotion alongside any touring endeavors, taking into account a number of things to ensure a successful release—even though Cameron suggested a 2024 release date. While expressing his excitement to travel again in the future year, Cameron thought back on the difficulties they encountered on their tour in 2022.

Although the band and crew were successful and the crowds were enthusiastic, the live performance experience was not ideal due to pandemic protocols requiring mask usage and periodic testing.

Guitarist Stone Gossard expressed his appreciation for Pearl Jam and Soundgarden’s music while providing details about their earlier-in-the-year partnership with Watt. Gossard also provided insight on the latter’s long history of producing, which included mainstream collaborations with Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber and legendary rock acts like Ozzy Osbourne and the Rolling Stones.
