Ted Nugent recently addressed his touring plans. In a recent YouTube video, Nugent said, “I’m trying to answer all these questions that come in. I get bombarded with all these questions. I try to answer as many as I can. They say, ‘You said you weren’t going to tour anymore. You were going to retire.’”

“I didn’t say I was going to retire. I said I wasn’t going to tour anymore, which means leaving home in a bus or on the airplanes and going to airports and going by the TSA and going to a hotel,” he explained.

“I’m allergic to travel and hotels.”

“So I got buddies with helicopters and jets and I’m going to do Ted Nugent ruched about speakeasies with Jon Kutz on drums, Jason Heartless on drums,” he added.

His statement detailed the distinction between traditional touring and his preferred method of reaching venues. Nugent has been addressing speculation about his touring future since his ‘Adios Mofo ’23’ farewell tour last year.

Blabbermouth reported that the musician’s strong commitment to performing. He maintains a more balanced lifestyle that includes spending time at home with his dogs.

“I’ve never used the ‘R’ word. I still crave to play. In fact, this morning I was playing through a Gibson Byrdland through a Fender amp, and my feet never touched the ground. I’m still absolutely stimulated by the pursuit of musical guitar adventure,” Nugent stated in a recent interview.

Ultimate Classic Rock reported about the veteran rocker’s celebration of ‘Stranglehold’s’ 50th anniversary. He will perform exclusive ‘SpeakEzy Rockout’ gigs in Texas and Michigan during April, May, and potentially August.

Metalhead Zone highlighted Nugent’s new touring approach. He now focuses on regional performances to maintain his preferred lifestyle while entertaining fans.
